One of the most important sustainable transportation means in Sétif is the Tramway, which began operating on May 8, 2018. It ensures transportation across the city, east and west, along a 15.2-kilometer line with 26 stations that pass through various administrative, economic, and commercial structures. The tramway is an environmentally friendly means of transportation that adheres to schedules, safety measures, and provides comfort for its commuters.
Sétif Tramway also serves as an excellent transportation option to the University of Sétif 1, spread over three campuses connected by tramway lines. Additionally, it links the university to various student accommodation residences, as well as the bus terminal and the railway station.
